Facebook ads Brisbane campaigns should
follow the growth corridors.
A single pin on the CBD misses how Brisbane is changing. The fastest growth is in Ipswich, Logan and Moreton Bay, so that is where we test first.
- 2,833,524Greater Brisbane residents at 30 June 2025
- +58,223new residents in 2024-25, a 2.1% rise
- 145,916registered businesses in the Brisbane City Council area, June 2025
Data: ABS Regional population 2024-25 and Brisbane City Council’s economic profile, December 2025.
Greater Brisbane growth areas
and how we’d target them.
A family in a new Ripley estate and a New Farm renter respond to different offers. Separate ad sets show which corridor brings enquiries at a cost you can live with.
This is the local layer on top of our national Meta ads management service.
| Area | What the ABS reported | Sample targeting | Sample offer that suits it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ripley, Ipswich | Up 3,100 people (15%), the largest increase in Greater Brisbane | Radius around Ripley plus neighbouring estates, homeowners in new builds | Landscaping, fencing, blinds, solar and pest control for new homes |
| Chambers Flat - Logan Reserve, Logan | Up 1,800 people | Postcodes in Logan’s south, tested against a Brisbane-wide ad set | Childcare, swim schools, tutoring and family health services |
| Greenbank - North Maclean, Logan | 14% growth in one year | Paired with Chambers Flat as one southern corridor | Driveways, patios, decking and outdoor living quotes |
| Morayfield, Moreton Bay | 15% growth in one year | Northern corridor ad set, kept apart from inner-north suburbs | Trades, mobile services, gyms and local retail openings |
| Brisbane City Council area | About 1.36 million residents and 145,916 registered businesses | Inner suburbs by postcode, B2B audiences near the CBD | Professional services, clinics, hospitality and recruitment |
No daylight saving in Queensland:
what it changes for your ads.
Queensland stays on AEST all year, so from October to April Brisbane runs an hour behind Sydney and Melbourne. We set your ad account, reports and any ad schedules to Brisbane time, so a “day” in your results matches your working day.
From October to April, 9:00 am in Brisbane is 10:00 am in Sydney and Melbourne; from April to October the clocks match. The Fair Work Ombudsman confirms Queensland doesn’t change its clocks. For ads, the gap shows up in three places.
- Budgets and reportingDaily spend and results are counted in the ad account’s time zone. An account set to Sydney time closes its day at 11 pm in Brisbane over summer.
- Cross-border audiencesCustomers in northern NSW are an hour ahead of you for half the year.
- Lead follow-upLead notifications go to you, on Brisbane time.

What Facebook advertising Brisbane businesses
run depends on the local economy.
Brisbane’s jobs, visitors and building pipeline each suit a different campaign. Sources checked October 2026.
For most businesses the Brisbane 2032 Games are years away. The nearer effect is construction and hiring around those precincts.
- Health, professional services and educationThese industries held about 35% of jobs in the Brisbane council area at the 2021 Census, with health care alone at 121,574. That suits recruitment ads and B2B offers aimed at clinics and firms. Hiring ads follow Meta’s employment rules; see the Jobs Recruiter case study.
- Visitors as well as localsThe council records 1.3 million international and 9.1 million domestic overnight visitors in the year to June 2025. Meta can separate people who live in an area from people recently there, so venues and tours can run visitor and resident ad sets side by side.
- Brisbane 2032, kept in proportionThe Queensland Government’s 2032 delivery plan puts the main stadium at Victoria Park, with venues planned for Spring Hill, Chandler, Birkdale, Logan and Moreton Bay. Read the Premier’s 2032 statement.
One flat fee for Brisbane
Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
You pay us $100 a week + GST, billed monthly as $440 including GST, and you pay Meta your ad budget directly. A Brisbane test usually starts from $20 a day.
Corridors split that budget across ad sets, so we start with two or three areas, not ten. A corridor that proves itself gets more of the money.
Every rate is listed on our Meta ads and social media pricing page, and our Facebook ads cost breakdown shows typical Australian click and lead prices.

Meta ads Sunshine CoastWhat our clients say
“Humming Web completely transformed how we approach Facebook and Instagram advertising. Before working with them our ad spend felt like money down the drain, high cost per lead, low quality enquiries, and no real transparency from our previous agency.”
“I'd tried two other agencies before Humming Web. This is the first time my Meta Ads have actually made me money. Transparent, fast to respond, and genuinely care about results. 5.2× ROAS in month two. Can't recommend enough.”
“Finally an agency that speaks plain English. Weekly reports tell us exactly what's working — no vanity metrics, no jargon. Leads are up 3× compared to what we were getting before. Direct line to the campaign manager is a game changer.”
“Switched from a large agency where we were just another account number. The difference is night and day. Humming Web actually understand our business, suggest new ideas, and are proactive. Results have been consistent and improving each month.”
Brisbane Facebook ads questions.
Can a Sydney agency run Facebook ads for a Brisbane business?
Yes. Meta campaigns are built and managed online, so knowing your market matters more than the team's postcode. We research your Brisbane corridors and competitors, report weekly and review monthly by video call.
Can Facebook ads target individual Brisbane suburbs or council areas?
Yes. Meta lets you target by postcode, by city or by a radius around an address, and to exclude areas you don't serve. We usually group suburbs into corridors, such as Logan's south or the Moreton Bay north, so each ad set has enough people to learn from.
Does Queensland not having daylight saving affect my campaigns?
It affects timing, not reach. Brisbane is an hour behind Sydney and Melbourne from October to April, so we set your ad account and reports to Queensland time. That keeps daily budgets, ad schedules and lead reports lined up with your own business hours.
Should my Brisbane ads also reach the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast?
Only if you can serve those customers well. A trade that travels an hour for jobs can add them as separate ad sets, judged on their own cost per enquiry. A clinic or cafe usually does better keeping budget inside Greater Brisbane.
Do you have Brisbane clients or Brisbane case studies?
No, not published ones. Our six Meta ads case studies come from Sydney, regional NSW and Australia-wide businesses, each shown with the spend behind the figures so you can judge how close it is to your situation.
Is it worth planning ads around the Brisbane 2032 Games now?
For most businesses, not yet. The Games are in 2032, and the nearer change is construction around precincts such as Victoria Park and Chandler. Trades, suppliers and labour hire firms can target those areas now; consumer brands are better off planning closer to the event.
Can Brisbane hospitality and tourism businesses target visitors?
Yes. Meta can reach people recently in an area as well as residents, so a venue can run one ad set for locals and one for visitors. Each gets its own creative: a visitor needs directions, a local needs a reason to come back.
Will my ads show to people outside the areas I choose?
Some can, because Meta estimates location from device and profile signals, and people travel. We check the regions breakdown weekly and exclude areas that waste spend.
